Title: Marketing Manager

Overview:

Following policies set forth by the Company, provide support through the creation of marketing collateral, developing and executing online and print marketing campaigns, scheduling product photo shoots, acting as a liaison between marketing and external creative agency on outsourced projects, coordinating the acquisition of apparel and other promotional items, and the fostering of positive working relationships with the communities in which we operate.

Essential Functions:

● Coordinating marketing campaigns with sales activities

● Assist in the creation and publication of all marketing material in line with marketing plans

● Assist in the development and creation of sales collateral, sales flyers, and product guides. Write, draft and proof read all sales collateral prior to obtaining State approval, using, or posting

● Liaise with external creative agency to meet and exceed deadlines of marketing deliverables including print, digital, and online campaigns, as well as social media content

● Develop shot lists, schedule product photo shoots, and oversee resulting content creation

● Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives

● Maintain and update educational blog on the company website, including the conceptualizing and creation of content

● Apparel and promotional item coordination including but not limited to: vendor relationship, cost benefit analysis, project proposals, and presentations

● Explore and implement various marketing opportunities to increase brand awareness and broaden our reach within the market

● Work with sales team to manage vendor relationships, cost benefit analysis, project proposals and presentations

● Develop and foster positive relationships with the communities in which we operate

● Other duties as assigned

Job Specifications:

● Basic understanding of compliance software and job specific information technology

● Adherence to all industry standards set forth by Local, State, and Federal regulations

● Flexible work schedule required; to include covering a vacant shift and/or facility issues in emergency situations as needed

● Strong analytical and project management skills

● Represent the company in a professional manner when communicating or interacting with all local community, state, or federal officials

● Observe and maintain all safety procedures and protocols

● Understanding of applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the industry, personnel law, safety regulations, local municipal codes and organizational rules, regulations, directives and standard operating procedures

● Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, management, governmental agencies, community members and the general public

● Ability to use standard office equipment, computer equipment, and software including word processing, database management, spreadsheet applications and electronic mail

● Possess strong copywriting and proofreading skills

● Comprehension of marketing and operating in a highly regulated industry

● Building and maintaining websites and digital platform content

Additional Requirements :

● Must be a minimum of 21 years of age

● Must pass any and all required background checks

● Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry

Minimum Education and Experience :

● High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

● Previous photography, video, and digital graphic design experience preferred

● Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered, including internal experience

Working Conditions :

● While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, talking, hearing, seeing,

standing, sitting, bending, twisting and repetitive motions

● PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 40 pounds (100 pounds with assistance)

● Must be able to tolerate dusty, strong smelling marijuana odors, and be able to tolerate exposure to the product
